Calisto MHF (Navarre GF x Guarapo x Genil) CALISTO MHF was born 03/10/01 He is a rare Black Pure Spanish Andalusian Stallion. He was revised by the Cria Caballar as a 3 year old in 2004 and is also registered with IALHA. He comes from an impeccable pedigree derived of multiple Champions. He is the son of Navarre . Navarre is approximately 16.3 h. and was National Champion Stallion 1997 , National Champion Res. Stallion 1995 and is undefeated in all Class Best Movement awards. Navarre 's sire Teodoro is the only stallion to capture the National crown of both the American and the International Association. Navarre 's dam, is the imported mare Ladina that is approximately 16.2 hands. Ladina was the International Association's National Champion Mare as well as Performance Champion. She is the last of a line representing 200 years of knowledgeable and dedicated breeding. On the other side of Calisto's incredible pedigree, his beautiful black dam Joya GF received Champion of Champion Mares and also Champion of Best Movement awards. Joya is sired by Guarapo, an imported Black Stallion, and the only black son of Genil (Champion of Champions in Spain and who is also known as one of the most successful Champions in Spain). Not only does Calisto come from a remarkable pedigree, he is also the most gentle stallion you will ever meet. He is not only kind, but a perfect gentleman too. Currently standing approximately 16.3+ hands, he will definitely make his mark. He is an exceptional mover and is quite flashy! He has a gorgeous chiseled head, a beautiful neck, large kind eyes and a long, thick flowing mane and tail. We believe he is a valuable asset to our breeding program. Watch for him in the 2009 show season! Calisto will be available for breeding in 2009. He has been tested negative for the red gene and Homozygous for the Black gene (EEaa) by UC Davis in 10 / 2004 .
